CAPITAL CAMPAIGN Minimize

From Pastor Laurie

The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; your love, O LORD, endures forever — do not abandon the works of your hands.  Psalm 138:8

Dear friends,

The Lord has a great purpose for our church, and I’m very excited about the changes that are coming for Hillsdale Presbyterian Church!  I would like to ask you to be in prayer for the future of our church and help us in discerning God’s will for the direction we will take.

I’m sure most of you have heard by now that the church has received an incredibly generous gift of 15 acres of land located at the intersection of 255th Street and Hospital Drive, just west of Hillsdale.

The hand of God moves in amazing ways to help us  fulfill our purpose to share his love and build his kingdom.  Over the last few weeks, we have completed a feasibility study to help us determine if now is the time relocate the church to this new location and build a new church facility.  Additionally, we asked your input to help us determine the next steps Hillsdale Presbyterian Church should take with regard to our overcrowding challenges and space needs.

After reviewing the results of the study, the Building Committee is in agreement that we should move forward with beginning a capital stewardship campaign to raise funds to begin the first phase of building our new church home.  Additionally, our building team will be jumping into high gear to plan what and when we should build.

I feel this is a ministry project that will unify our church and enable us to eventually expand our ministry outreach.  We strongly desire to have you join with us on this important project.

So, stay tuned. We'll be sharing a lot of information in the weeks ahead. I also hope you will join me in praying for the church, so that we make God-honoring decisions throughout this process.  Our ultimate goal is to glorify Jesus Christ and reach out in love to more people who need Him. Thank you for your partnership on the journey.
